Solar power is more affordable, accessible, and prevalent in the United States than ever before. The average cost of solar PV panels is dropping.
A typical solar panel system in the U.S. is around 6 kW in size (between 16 and 18 panels, depending on their wattage). A 6 kW system will generate between 720 kWh to 900 kWh per month (the typical American home uses about 893 kWh of electricity monthly).
The average American home going solar for a year is like not burning 8,000 pounds of coal, or driving about 18,000 miles less.
Many states are maximizing solar’s low, predictable rates to meet clean energy goals. GTFPower is helping make it a reality. Our local solar advisors understand the solar market in each state and are able to offer you the best local solar energy solution. Many states have distinct solar energy incentives, financing, and energy rates.

State Solar Incentives
In August 2022, Congress passed an extension of the Federal Solar Investment Tax Credit (ITC), which provides a 30% tax credit for systems installed by December 2032. The credit drops to 26% for systems installed in 2033. The then credit drops to 22% for systems installed in 2034. Currently, the tax credit is set to expire beginning in 2035 unless Congress renews it.
In addition, states offer various solar incentives. The Database of State Incentives for Renewables & Efficiency (DSIRE) explains state and federal incentives and rebates.
Solar energy provides energy freedom. GTFPower solar panels and a home battery storage system allow you to control your energy use and reduce year-round costs. In addition, our comprehensive warranty ensures peak performance for your system.
You may pay for your system upfront or finance with low, fixed monthly payments. You can also lease a system and pay a lower rate for electricity usage. Some states offer a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA), a financial agreement in which a developer builds, owns, and maintains a solar energy system installed on the homeowner’s property at little-to-no cost. The homeowner agrees to purchase the electricity generated by the system for a predetermined period at a fixed rate, typically lower than the local utility’s rate.
GTFPower’s flexible financing, including solar leases and PPA agreements, supplies solar benefits to match every budget. Additionally, we provide local solar solutions to secure your energy future.
